and my 3rd card for tonight is a combination of Stylised Flower folder and the Fiskars texture plate (the grain-like embossing on the background). whew! I can't believe I was able to finish 3 for tonight! I kinda feel sleepy now...will post more details tomo.

my PERFECTLY PAISLEY card

So, here's another card to all of you lovely readers of my blog. This is the 2nd time (as far as I can remember) that I used the Perfectly Paisley folder and I just used some colour combo techniques for this...nothing really special...except that yellow and green do work well with pink. What you reckon?

bloom dots/swiss dots card

here's a card that I made using the Bloom Dots and Swiss Dots folders. I used both the negative (left side of the card) and positive side (right side of the card) of the Bloom Dots for a different kind of effect. I then coloured the dots in the middle using my watercolour pencils. I decided to colour them to somehow put a bit of life to this very white card. So, how was I able to put the Swiss dots in the middle? hmmm...guess it made you thinking soon as you saw this card (am I right?) will tell you the secret recipe in a little while.

I almost jumped up and down soon as I got hold of it (I just couldn't 'coz I was inside our car lol!) it was shipped from the US (via USPS) and was ordered by my sister. (thanks sistah!) I'm so glad 'coz it only took 9days for the item to arrive. here's a photo of mine while holding the parcel...hehehe!
