CREATE A SCENE by MASKING

Happy Friday everyone! Wow! It's Friday once again and I can say time really flies so fast nowadays!!  I want to share with you today the card that I made for 2 challenges:

and I bet like me, you would say the challenge go perfectly together!! Masking is surely a part of creating a scene that's why I combined these two challenges! YAY! I stamped Tilda then masked her so I can stamp the fence (which is btw, from Sugar Nellie). I used my Stamp a Majig to stamp the fence. I then masked the fence then stamped the flower background. As you can see, I stamped the stems again so as to show tall-stemmed flowers. :)  The stems in between the fence was done manually with Copic Multiliner.  Everything was coloured with Copics and other shading were achieved using Prismacolor pencils with odourless solvent.
Sky was created by sponging with torn paper as a guide.  The sun was done with the same technique.

Here's a closer shot:

I embellished my card with a layer of flowers and a button and a bit of yellow and purple Stickles on the stamped flowers.

Here's a close-up shot for you to see the sparkle in the flowers:

I know I'm still mastering how to colour Tilda with Copics so kindly excuse my colouring but I'm happy as somehow I'm kind of improving (as my hubby said) LOL!!

Thanks so much for the visit and I would love to hear your comments or suggestions.

God bless us all!

CAS63 Cosmos Flowers

Happy Monday! I haven't posted anything the past few days as I was a bit unwell due to cough and colds. Tomorrow my kids are going back to school after their almost 3wks Autumn break. So that means, more stamping time for me. LOL!

Here's a Clean and Simple card that I made for the CAS63 challenge this week over SCS.  It's based on a card by Alanna. I used papers from my scraps and the only stamping done here is the sentiment. :)  The flowers were punched using my Martha Stewart Cosmos punch adorned with dew drops.

Thanks for looking! God bless you all!
