Masculine Upsy Daisy

Didn't I promise to share with you the birthday card I made for hubby? Well, here it is and sorry for the delayed post.

I went for Upsy Daisy and made it masculine this time. I stamped it onto my Very Vanilla cs using Versamark and Choc Chip ink then heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Did some sponging all over the Very Vanilla cs but concentrating a bit around the image. Distressed the edges using my edge distresser tool and sponged some Choc Chip on it as well.

The metal embellishment was newly-acquired and I bought it from Big W. Would you believe it's just .50cents for a pack? And a pack consists of at least 12 metal embellishments of different designs. What a bargain! This is also the first time I used a metal embellishment on a card....the thing that I tied on it was something I found while I'm sweeping our floor a couple of weeks ago, LOL! At least I made some use out of it.
Hope you'll like this one 'coz hubby did really like it!

Thanks for the visit and I'm off to do the house chores now.

God bless!

CAS19 Baubles and Snowflakes

Hello everyone! Hope everything's doing very well with you wherever you are right now. It's a bit freezin' cold here while I'm writing this post and I couldn't help but ((shiver))!

Anyways, I know it's been awhile since I last made a card. It's once again been busy around here the house. I have lots of school appointments to attend to and schedules to look after. My DS2 will be going to school next year that's why as early as now, we're trying our best to put him in a school that is close to our place. But we're still awaiting for some assessments and we'll take it from there.

As for me, I went to the hospital last Friday for a Pre-Operative check. It's must a week prior to a procedure to be done. I will be having Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy in one go this coming Friday, 19 June so please, if you get the chance...say a little prayer for me. I will really appreciate it.

On with the card now, this is my take for the CAS19 challenge. This challenge was inspired by Natasha's Blooms. I sued my Kaisercraft Doodled Christmas stamp set for the baubles and the snowflakes are from my See D's stamps. Both images were stamped using Versafine ink. The sentiment was stamped with a bit of rock n' roll technique.

Here's my Christmas card:

I went over the stars on the baubles with my red Copic spica glitter pen and I used gold Copic spica with the snowflakes on the other hand. The sparkle wasn't so obvious with this shot but it looks good IRL.
Okay, off to make another card (hopefully!). Thanks for visiting and for including my upcoming medical procedure in your prayers.
God bless us all!

Hugs,
