SC185 Challenge and another Carolers card

Oh, I was able to finish 4 cards today! (and I still have to finish one for DH..it's Father's Day here tom.) This one is for SCS sketch challenge (SC185). I used this stamp again but this time I coloured them with my markers and used bold and bright colours to make it look more Christmasy.

And this one is the Carolers stamp which I coloured with watercolour pencils using a blender pen. The red cardstock looked orangey here but it's actually red.

My hands are quite tired (and so am I), I guess I'll just be finishing hubby's card then I'll freshen up and go to sleep. Dinner is waiting and hubby did the cooking (he's so sweet).

Be back later....

House Mouse Christmas SC192

Here I'am once again with another card. (I told you got lots of time to make cards today!) This is my very first House Mouse stamps and it's also the first time I inked them and used it on the SC192 card sketch challenge. I'm lovin' these challenges, they help me make more cards.

I stamped the image onto SU! Whisper White cardstock and matted them to SU! Garden Green. I coloured the cute image with my waterdcolour pencils with the help of my blender pen. I really enjoyed colouring them, they're gorgeous. I will make other cards using the same image but will colour it using other medium. We'll then see the difference. For now, I have to go as I'm still in the process of finishing another card. (it's halfway through).

See you later. :)

JOY TO THE WORLD! (SC191 TAKE TWO!)

hello! I made another card this morning for the SC191 card scketch challenge. I used my Carolers stamps (by Clearly Wordsworth) for the first time and the recently purchase double-sided Christmas paper. I paper-pieced the "carolers" but my, I was really challenged with the cutting and piecing 'coz as you can see, they're very small! I made this card a couple of hours before lunch. :)

I'll be making more cards today so watch out for my blog for updates. It's been raining here in Sydney for 2 days now and hubby's here so I got more time to do some crafts and stuffs! (in between snuggling and hot chocolate! wow!) :)

Thanks for looking! God bless everyone.

TOADALLY YOU and CUPCAKES (SC191 Sketch Challenge)

I actually feel very sleepy now, it's already 1:40am but I decided to upload the cards that I was able to finish tonight (rather last night LOL!) to share them with you. I'll just put in the details tomorrow. Here are the cards..

There are lots of "firsts" in these cards:

* First time I used the toad stamp and the cupcakes stamp

* First time I used watercolour pencils with a blender pen

* First time I played along on SCS sketch challenge

* First time I used Deja Views double-sided paper

* and first time I used both sides of this double-sided paper LOL!

So, basically these cards will be memorable for me. More details tomorrow. Thanks for looking. Gotta sleep now....

God bless us all!

hugs,

JHET

FRIEND...

Hello to you all! From my blog title itself...yes, this card is for a friend and I will be sending it to her today. I can't tell her name for she reads my blog and I wanted to surprise her with this. I was able to finish this last night and I feel kinda proud (*wink* *wink*) of myself with this card. Not because the image is so cute, but the colour combos are gorgeous as well! (tee hee! for me) I was thinking what ribbon colour to use until hubby stepped in and gave me a bit of his suggestion. So, the ribbon ended up in blue which somehow complemented Sarah Kay's jeans. I used Copic Spica on her hat, and on the sentiment, though it wasn't captured by the camera. Ohh..she's so lovely.

I put a lot of effort in tying the ribbon (I'm not good at this). I was even in front of the pc watching some tutorials on how to tie a ribbon...and I did it! (and that's another reason why I'm proud of this one LOL!) My husband told me that this card is gorgeous and that I'm getting better in making cards (what a sweet support).

So, tell me honestly...is this card gorgeous?? (hahaha!) I really hope my friend likes it. Let's wait and see. :)

See you later!

Two Quick Cards

Made these cards for 40minutes (but the image was already pre-coloured :) ) I made these for the two young girls in our church (Reena and Jamie) who happens to be "best friends". Notice that the image are the same, I just coloured them differently and used other cardstock colours to complement the image. I'm glad 'coz they both liked them. :)

The photo above was taken with camera flash on (that's why the glittery parts showed)

While this one was taken without the flash...

Got a bit of a migraine so I'll call this a day now. Will post more cards soon as I finished them. Btw, I'm already done with my SCS image swap (c/o SAMMI ) and will post them tomorrow. This is my first image swap and I'm soooo excited. ;)

Good night everyone. God bless you all.
