These 2 Tilda cards were created last weekend. My kids were sick and it was very calm and silent in the house, they're just resting in their beds and somehow I was able to make cards while looking after them. But I'd rather make cards while they're running around the house than seeing them just lying in bed and sick. :(
The first Tilda is a birthday card for my niece who will be turning 11 this July 9. I used a RAK image of Valentine Tilda from Bec. Tilda is originally holding a heart image but I decided to cover it with a paper rose instead. I poked a hole on the heart image using my paper piercer then adhered the paper rose. The rose was actually white but I just coloured it with the same blue marker I used with Tilda's jumper. The markers that I used with this one is Bic Mark-It but I used Copics to colour her face, skin and hair.
The next card is just an everyday card. I coloured Tilda with Copic markers and made her brunette again. LOL! I think she looks cuter in brunette. Don't you think so? I used a background ink from Hero Arts to stamp my flowers (behind the sentiment) which is a stamp from Darkroom Door Essentials 2 Collection. I then stamped the sentiment onto it using my Darkroom Door -Melody from their Music Collection. I believe the image and the sentiment fit perfectly well. :)
The bench where Tilda sits on was made using the Spellbinders bracket. I just embossed it using Cuttlebug embossing folder to add an effect. The rest is self explanatory.
Okay, have to study and do some writings now as I will be sharing about the prophet Hosea this coming Friday for our Bible study. :) I have one requested card to make but apart from that, I won't be making any cards not until I'm done with my Hosea report. :)
Thanks for visiting and pls pray for my darling son Jhetro for him to get well soon.
God bless us all!
