Can't Get Enough of This TREE :)

Happy Thursday everyone! I made 2 cards more for the CAS145 and TLC352 challenge over SCS and I used the Pine tree again from the SU! set Lovely As A Tree. I just can't get enough of it, really! LOL!  The first card is a "night" version of my first CAS145 card, cut out the tree and used pop dots for a bit of dimension. I also stamped (and cut) a holly and did paper piercing. The tree has glitters on it. Unfortunately, the camera wasn't able to capture it.

The second card is a non-traditional Christmas card (with a non-traditional colour of Christmas tree) :)
A Pine/Christmas tree stamped in Versacube Topaz. A different kind of Christmas tree with an aged/distressed look. :)

Thanks for visiting! Have  a blessed day!

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone! Here's my card for this week's CAS challenge - Christmas or Winter themed card and for the TLC352 challenge - Let it Snow!

The tree is from SU! Lovely As A Tree set and blocked ones to mimic a window is from their Background Sampler set. Just a simple card but looks so wintery, IMO. :)

Here's a closer shot of the tree:

I actually made additional 2 cards for the said challenge but I guess, I'll just post it tomorrow.

Thanks for looking and see you on my next post.

WINTER CHRISTMAS CARDS

Happy Monday everyone! All praise and thanks to our Lord Jesus for a brand new week and for sustaining us for the weeks that had passed.  It's been more than 2 weeks since I last posted and I want to make up for those by sharing with you 2 Christmas cards that I've created.

I've actually made these cards weeks ago but haven't had the chance to post them. But upon seeing the challenge on SCS ---WT349 Baby, It's Cold Outside, I thought this is the proper time to share them. :)

For both cards, I used the images from Crafters Companion.  I've had this stamp set for more than a year now but only got the chance to ink them up recently.

The background on the first card is from SU! Lovely As A Tree and the sentiment is from Justrite Stampers Nested Christmas Sentiments.

 Here's a close-up shot of the images:

The second card is just a simple one. Also coloured with Copics and the white areas of the image's clothing was embellished with Martha Stewart Crystal Fine glitter.

Here's a close-up:

Thank you so much for looking and for visiting my blog.

Until next post!  Have a blessed day!

BIRTHDAY CARDS

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Wow! We're already half year through and before we know it, it's Christmas once again! :) Time really flies so fast that's why we have to enjoy and thank God for every moment that He's blessing us.

Sorry for not posting for almost 2wks now.  As usual, I got busy with the kids and all especially that my DS2 is sick since yesterday.  It's officially winter here this month and it's the time of year where colds, cough and flu are always roaming around.  I was about to sit and stamp yesterday (if DS2 went to school) but he had to stay home. He's still absent from school today but I was able to make a card - just a simple one, just making use of my scraps.

Here it is:

And this one below, is a card I made last week for my hubby's birthday last Sunday.  I made use of my Lovely As A Tree and Weathered Background stamps from SU! and just printed the verse that I've chosen for him. (taken from Psalm 1)

Thank you for the visit once again.  And sorry for not updating you regularly lately.  Have a blessed day!

Masculine Upsy Daisy

Didn't I promise to share with you the birthday card I made for hubby? Well, here it is and sorry for the delayed post.

I went for Upsy Daisy and made it masculine this time. I stamped it onto my Very Vanilla cs using Versamark and Choc Chip ink then heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Did some sponging all over the Very Vanilla cs but concentrating a bit around the image. Distressed the edges using my edge distresser tool and sponged some Choc Chip on it as well.

The metal embellishment was newly-acquired and I bought it from Big W. Would you believe it's just .50cents for a pack? And a pack consists of at least 12 metal embellishments of different designs. What a bargain! This is also the first time I used a metal embellishment on a card....the thing that I tied on it was something I found while I'm sweeping our floor a couple of weeks ago, LOL! At least I made some use out of it.
Hope you'll like this one 'coz hubby did really like it!

Thanks for the visit and I'm off to do the house chores now.

God bless!
