Got a parcel from...

KATHY!!!

OMGosh! I was really surprised when I received it yesterday. I mean, I didn't have any idea that she will be sending me heaps of stuffs. There are lots and lots of stamped images ranging from House Mouse and the "Fall Theme" images. Not only that, she also sent me heaps of patterned paper, die cuts from Nesties and ribbons!!! Wow! Thanks Kathy! As I've said, you put a smile on my face -- I just don't know if you remembered that my birthday is on Oct 13 and my anniversary is on the 14th -- but well, thanks really. It turned to be a surprise birthday parcel!! I like everything on it. :)
Btw, what is a Secret Sister Swap? Does everybody has "Secret Sister" on SBS 22?? Wonder how it works...if I will disguise myself and send someone my stuffs, she would easily know who I am as I'm the only one from Australia. Anyone can tell me about this secret sister thing?? :)
Ok guys, I'll be seeing my GP this afternoon for a check-up regarding my lightheadedness, please pray that everything will be okay. Thanks!
Have a blessed day everyone!

My PRIZE is HERE!

Yay! My parcel arrived today! Remember the online shopping site where I joined their cardmaking competition and my card entry ended up second place? (I mentioned this on one of my previous posts). Yes, that's it! I finally received my prize..

I got Inkadinkado Asian Influences clear stamp set, Image Tree Clear stamp set, a spool of blue satin ribbon by Birch and 2 Uniball Signo pens (black and white). I hope I'll be able to have a play with them soon. I actually still have heaps of new stamps uninked and untouched (lol!), I just couldn't find the time to use them all, rather I don't know which one to use first, LOL! Btw, you can view my winning card entry at BizzyBecs.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a blessed day!

Birthday Bella!

Here's a card that I've been working on for the past few days. Finishing this on time was a bit hard 'coz as I've said I wasn't feeling a bit well lately. Good thing, I was able to finish it today. This is just another simple card made for a young lady who will be turning 18 this Sunday. I want a pink and brown theme but ran out of Choc Chip cs so I just made it turn out that only the left side was being matted (clever idea lol!). I coloured this Ballonabella of Stamping Bella (RAK image fr my SBS 22 sister Sarah) with my Sugarloaf markers and Copic. Sentiment was computer-generated.

Thanks for this Bella, Sarah. Wish to receive more of her. :)

So, what do you think?

World Card Making Day and My Exhortation

HAPPY WORLD CARDMAKING DAY!

Yeah, it was actually yesterday (because it's now Sunday here where I am), so in celebration of World Card Making Day, I made a card yesterday, though only one card (at least). Just a simple card as my creativity isn't functioning that well, I still am a bit unwell, I feel so lightheaded and I don't know :(. I guess my MVP symptoms are up again (MVP- mitral valve prolapse. It's a condition of the heart but not a heart disease). My Cardio said I might have gotten this since birth or something triggered it along the way (like pregnancy, giving birth). And there are sensitivity issues that comes along with this MVP so I have my UPs and DOWNs with it. I was diagnosed with MVP way back January 2005. Anyway, here's my card for you to see:

Another thing that's keeping me from making card is I'm organising my very, very small craft space (I have to even if I'm not feeling well). I don't have a craft room and I only have a small table inside our master's bedroom. I also have small cabinets to store my supplies. I asked hubby to modify my table to accomodate other stuffs so that I can have enough space and can work well on my projects. I'll show you what he did once I have everything organised. :)

It's First Sunday service in our church today (Joy of Life Christian Church) and I'll be the one to exhort on Tithes and Offerings. My exhortation was taken from Proverbs 3:9-10 which says "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops, then your barns will be filled with overflowing and your vats will brim over with new wine." Generally speaking, it means we must honour God first in everything, especially with our wealth. And I guess we shouldn't ask how much we will give but how much we will keep for ourselves.

Have a blessed day fellow bloggers and readers!
