Happy Thursday everyone! Praise God for another lovely day that He has blessed us with. We're having another lovely day here today - sunny but not warm. I was able to do 2 loads of laundry and planning to have another one in a little while. :)
I've made this card for the SSCC#77 Challenge and SC321 Sketch Challenge over SCS. I started stamping the images last night, chose my dp to use and did the dry embossing on the top part of the card but just decided to put it all together the next day (which is today) after I'm done with my chores.
The SSCC#77 challenge calls for using "green" on your card or project. The inspiration was taken from Exodus 8:9-11 wherein God sent a plague of frogs to Egypt so that the Pharaoh will let go of the people of Israel. Peggysue Turner (DT member of Stampin' Sisters in Christ) made a wonderful sharing about this verse.
So, without any further chatthing, here's my take on the challenge:
My stamp image is basically one of my "first" stamps since I started with my cardmaking hobby. It's also one of those so-neglected stamps that's just gathering dusts inside my cubby box. But it's inked today! And probably will be inking it more in the future. (I hope, lol!). I used SU! Old Olive for my image and for the sentiment (Stampendous), I used Memento Rhubarb Stalk. The white panel was embossed with Cuttlebug Stylized Flower and coloured with green decorative chalk. The images were cut with Nestabilities Square and matted onto a Rose Red cs cut with Cuttlebug Vintage corner die (another neglected stuff of mine). I used another colour apart from white and green to give the card some pop. ;)
Thanks so much for looking and can you please keep the people of New Zealand in your prayers as they tragically experienced a 6.3 magnitude earthquake recently. There were many lives and homes lost and they're still trying to find survivors from this natural disaster. Say a prayer for them during your quite time with the Lord, will you?
Thanks once again and I'll see you on my next post.
God bless.
