hello everyone! these cards are my "firsts", (well, maybe not first for you but for me it is, 'coz it's the first time I tried these techniques). this if my first attempt in "stamping" (hehehe) well, the stamp that I used is just one of my 3 stamps that I own (well, for now, lol!) for the pink cardstock, I used the fiskars texture plates (raindrops) and for the heart-shaped, I used the swiss dots folder (but the negative side). I used watercolour pencil in colouring the dots. =)
and my other first is this one...Ta Da! embossing on vellum =) and I'm so, so glad that it turned out well (IMO, hahaha!) I coloured the embossed parts with my Faber Castell watercolour pencils. you may want to try it but just be very careful because vellum tends to break easily.
THANKS FOR LOOKING...MAY GOD BLESS US ALWAYS!
a place where you can find my scrapbook pages, cards, altered projects and DIY crafts that I have created. I'm learning a lot in the process and enjoying the outcome of my creativity that God has bestowed upon me that's why I want to share it with you. GOD gets all the credit for these. THANKS FOR LOOKING!

2 cards in an hour ;)
my migraine didn't stop me from making these 2 cards & I thank God for that. the first card is for my youngest sister who couldn't believe that I'm into cardmaking nowadays (and she couldn't believe when she saw the cards on my blog hehe!). this is just actually an everyday card.
I used a white blank card, cardstock, dcwv fr all glitter stack collection and of course, my CUTTLEBUG! I embossed the patterned background with Bloom Dots and I used the flower die for the flower in the middle of the card.
CARD FOR MY SISTER
card #2 is for a very good friend who will be celebrating her birthday on the 22nd of June. I will be sending this through post tomorrow so it' more on an advance greeting. well, just making sure I won't be missing her birthday.
I used dcwv from the glitter stack collection for the background and embossed it on my Happy Birthday embossing folder. other materials were pink and brown cardstock from Bazzill.
THANKS FOR LOOKING. GOD BLESS US ALL!

altered projects
here is another altered project I made today. this magazine holder is made out of a cereal box (yes! a cereal box). it was just simply done by trimming the box and adhering patterned paper (Brenda Pinnick designs) that would complement each other. for the alphas, I used Bella! chipies (the raw one) and coloured it according to my son's preference. we used Faber Castell to colour the alphas. the "arrow" is also from Bella! and the diecuts are of course, from my cat and mouse dies set by Provo Craft. i don't have any sheet of chipboards here and so, I decided to use the trimmed cut-outs from the cereal box for the cat and mouse diecuts. (now I'm improvising!) good thing, I've been keeping the cereal boxes once the kids were finished with those.
below is my son Jared holding his magazine holder made by his mum - ME!
would you believe this is a CD? don't ask me how it was cut out, I'd go get my husband to tell you how. haha! but honestly, it's a CD =) details later....DS2's having tantrums. thanks for looking!
