CAROLERS

I like paper piecing! And one of my stamps that I always like to do this technique with is my Carolers by Clearly Wordsworth.

CAS as it is, I stamped and coloured the image (the male carolers) directly to the card base and paper-pieced the ladies. Cut a two different size strips, stamped the sentiment (from the same set) and did some scoring using my Scor-Pal.

Thanks for looking and have a blessed THURSday! :)

CC341 FRIEND

Good afternoon fellow bloggers and stampers!

Here's my simple take for today's CC341 color combination challenge: Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. Such a wonderful colour combo!

I used a tree from a stamp set called We Are Family by Heidi Grace (as the challenge requires leaves) and so I coloured the leaves randomly with my Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive markers. The sentiment is from CC Designs. The Heidi Grace stamp set was actually one of the stamps that I won from my cousin Joan's blog candy a year ago and I was only able to ink it now.

Thanks for looking and for visiting my blog.

Mostly Blue Scripture (F4A82, SSIC107)

Happy Tuesday everyone! Finally, I got to sit and stamp yesterday in the midst of my household chores! Thank God for the energy and for the creativity that flowed in my mind yesterday. :) I'm so happy that after awhile, I was able to play with the challenges that I used to join before.

This card is for the "Mostly Blue Challenge (F4A82)" over SCS and also for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge#107 wherein you have to use wings and a biblical verse/scripture or quote.

I stamped the scripture then die cut it with Nestabilities. And while still on the die, I sponged around it using a baby blue decorative chalk, then stamped the head of the flowers randomly for a background. The butterfly was stamped on the same dp that I used and was cut by a pair of scissors; adhered in a way that it will look like it's gonna fly anytime. :)

This one goes out to a friend , sort of an encouragement to look at the wonderful, beautiful and amazing things God has created whenever she gets disheartened or when she feels things aren't looking so well.  I hope she will not get a hint that this is for her when she gets to read this. *wink*

Have a blessed day everyone!

Wedding Card

Hi everyone!! Wow!! After more than 2 months, I was able to create a card once again! I'm so sorry for not posting that long.  My mojo went away and I'm not even sure until now if it has already come back.  I'm glad that someone asked me to make a wedding card last weekend and somehow, the creative juice just went flowing.

Here's the wedding card that I've done:

I wasn't given particular colours that's why I just went for smooth ones.

Hope you'll like this simple creation of mine. Thank you so much for your support and for your visits.

God bless us all!

Wedding in Pink

Happy Tuesday fellow bloggers, stampers and cardmakers!  We're having a gloomy, cold and rainy weather here in Sydney and my bed has been calling me to just go under my comforter and stay warm but I've got lots of chores waiting for me to do. LOL! And of course, I need to post so I can share with you the card I made last night. :)

This was a request from a neighbour/friend who will attend a wedding in 2 weeks time. She sent me an SMS last Sunday night and gave me the motif so I decided to sit and stamp last night -- hence the finish product!

This is also my take for the IC286 challenge over SCS and the swirls on my card was inspired by this Parisian Swirl Pink Lunch Napkins.  I just used a dark green for the fern leaves to give the card a bit of a pop.  The names were stamped using Justrite Stampers with a little from my stamp-a majig for the symbol "&". I sprayed Glimmer Mist Pearl on all the white panels that you can see on the card and it looks so elegant IRL. :)

Thanks so much for the visit and hope to see you again on my next post!

God bless!

Spring Couple Easel Card

Happy Thursday everyone! Just want to share with you a card that I made weeks ago for a church friend.  The image is called Spring Couple from CC Designs which I got fr Bizzy Becs. :)  It was coloured with Copic markers and paper-pieced as well using Basic Grey dp.

The person who ordered this card and the recipient are now both enjoying the summer season in the Philippines so we can also call this couple - Summer Couple. LOL!!

This is my entry for last weeks F4A65 challenge over SCS in which the challenge is about "Opposites" (pertaining to the colour wheel).  I think that this one somehow fits into the challenge as I used opposite colours (purple or plum/yellow green).

Thanks for the visit and hope y'all have a blessed day!

Wedding

Happy Wednesday everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all mothers in the world!! Yes, I'm back to my regular postings (hopefully) and sorry for being detached from the blogland for more than 2 months now. A lot of things had happened but nothing to worry about. :)  Things just really got so busy and I even went on a holiday in the Philippines for 18days to attend my father's 70th birthday last April 11.  It was a surprise for him and it really was a success!! :) And of course, precious were the moments that I spent with my family and friends as well.  I went alone as it was just a very short holiday. Hubby had his leave from work and he looked after the boys and our dwelling while I was away. Yes! He managed to take care of the boys and house chores and everything (well, almost everything, LOL!) was in order when I got back!! Wow! I really thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful and ever-supportive hubby! ♥

Okay, on to the card.  I actually made this few days before my holiday.  A church-friend will attend a wedding (during that time) and she wanted a purple card for that. I combined it with black (and white) to make it look elegant.

And here's a close-up shot of the stamped couple wherein I used my Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter for the bride's gown.

I will upload other cards that I made prior to my holiday but for now, I hope you'll like what I've shared. :)

Have a blessed day and to those who are from Australia (where I live); keep yourself warm as this year's Autumn seems to be a very early Winter for us!!

Thanks for the visit!
