happy birthday card

Hello friends, blog readers and fellow bloggers! wherever you are, I hope that you're all doing very well upon reading my latest post. It's been awhile I know that I haven't done any cards (6 days I think). Well, my 2 darling sons got sick and I, myself have cough and colds. Winter is on it's height atm here in Australia so, I guess that's the reason why alot of people get sick.

Anyhoo, here's my latest card to share. It's another first for me for it's the first time I used a clear (acrylic) stamp for a card. I'm starting to like stamping hehehe....and I'm always on the look-out for cute clear stamps over the internet (I even ordered some outside Australia). I actually received today my first Hero Arts clear stamps (and they're very gorgeous IRL)...can't wait to have a play with them.

Here's my card and I hope you'll like it.

GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

NEW CARDS

These are my 2 new cards that I was able to finish while watching TFC (the Filipino channel). This is a card where I used a stamp the second time and used my VersaMagic white chalk ink and my new embossing folder (textile).

The second card is a birthday card which I will send in the Philippines for my friend's son.

Hope you like them...good thing I was able to make these cards despite of the fact that I'm feeling a bit of headache due to a very cold weather.

God bless everyone!

UPDATES...and altered clocks

Hi everyone! It's been quite awhile since I last wrote an update here. Hope everything's doing very well with you and your family by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We had an internet connection problem for a couple of days and we weren't able to use our ADSL. We had a dial-up connection the last 2 days but it was a bit slow to open pages or upload photos. Now, our ADSL is back on track (thank God!), so I'm back to blogging again. :)

I altered a clock (with the help of my darling husband) just a week or two ago but totally forgot to post it here to share with you. So here it is....

And yesterday, while we were on my BIL's house (we went there to teach my niece on how to upload/transfer songs to her Ipod shuffle), as I was looking at their wall clock..an idea entered my mind. Something's telling me to alter it..hehehe! So, hubby told them that we will be bringing home their clock just for a night and return it the next day with a new look. =) I wasn't able to take a "before" photo of this clock (and so was the above clock), but I guess you'll somehow have an idea how it looked like before I altered it. Here's the clock....

Like the first altered clock, hubby helped me with the colour combos (thanks daddy!). When we brought it to my BIL's house this evening, they were really surprised with its new look. And they liked it! =) My SIL even told me that she'll buy another clock bigger than this one and she'll have me alter it. LOL!

SO, yeah..those were my projects lately. I'm in the process of making cards tonight (if I wouldn't be feeling sleepy), I actually made one already...oh, two I mean but I still have to do some finishing touches. I will upload the photos soon as I finish them.

This is it for now....hope you'll have a good night sleep. Don't forget to pray. =)

God bless everyone!

Petite Scallop Circle birthday card

Good Morning! As promised....here's the other card that I made yesterday. I used the largest size of my Petite Scallop Circle nesties for this. I like the card the way it is but I might add a bit of kindyglitz or put a ribbon on the spine of the card to put more life...or I might colour in some areas. This is for the 10th birthday of my niece from New Zealand.

Have a blessed day everyone! :)

my first nestability card

hello everyone! I got hold of my Petite Scallop Nestabilities 2 days ago and I was really excited to create cards using the nesties. unfortunately, I didn't get the chance as I did chores that should be prioritised first rather than making cards (ohh...is this really, me?)

anyway, I was able to finish two cards this afternoon as I was home alone (DS 2 attended childcare). I took a photo of the first card for now...the other one is still preparing itself for the photo shoot. hahaha! btw, my darling husband went back to work today after his more than two weeks of holiday...and I'm missing him already :(

here's the first card:

these cards (the other card is yet to be posted) are for my nieces who will be celebrating their birthdays on the 9th and 11 of July. I chose this beautiful patterned cardstock from DCWV (the glitter stack collection) because of its girly and very lively colours.

THANKS FOR LOOKING...I will upload the other card later. C yah!

[We have our Bible Study tonight, if I won't be able to post the photo of the other card, tomorrow for sure it'll be here on my blog. Will be seeing my brothers and sisters in Christ later and will be hearing a lot of God's words so at Friday nights, Bible Study tops the list!)

BIRTHDAY CARDS

Hello once again! Tonight, I was able to finish 2 birthday cards. I was actually just trying to make one for my BIL in New Zealand but then ended up with 2! These are just simple birthday cards embossed using the Happy Birthday A2 embossing folder, Happy Birthday Jelly folder and the birthday gift dies -- all from the maker of Cuttlebug -- Provocraft!

Here's a closer look at them....

This one looks like an embossed chocolate :) hehehe...what do you think?

This one is more lively because of its colours. :) I also used DCWV cardstock from the Glitter Stack collection for this card.

Thanks for always visiting my blog. Feel free to leave a comment or two :)

Have to sleep now....take care and may God shower us with more blessings. Amen.
