I used another Tilda image but kept the Christmas theme just like my previously uploaded card. And this time I so generously glittered my image with Martha Stewart Crystal Fine glitter which I bought the other day from Spotlight. Have a looksee...
Here's another shot for you to see the "bling"...
This is so gorgeous IRL, to be honest! I'm not saying this because it's my card, LOL! but really, this glitter makes a card look more gorgeous and lovely!
I coloured Tilda with Prismacolor pencils getting as closed to the colours of the papers used. Of course, I have with me the Prisma to SU! colour chart which is very, very handy when it comes to matching colours. I used Taken with Teal as my card base and the rest are dp's from about 2 years ago. LOL! These papers were one of those bulks that I bought when I was just starting to make cards. Mind you, these are not your traditional Christmas colours. But I like it!! For a change. :)
I have a secret to tell you. I actually made a mistake while colouring Tilda's hands. I initially coloured it with E000 (skin colour) but realised that her hands should be wearing gloves (and I presume it's winter at Christmas wherever she is. Our Christmas is Summer so no White Christmas here, LOL!) I went over the hands again using my Prisma pencil that is matched with Taken with Teal but the colour went darker as compared to her shoes. (I used the same pencil but had a different outcome because of my prior mistake with her hands). So, I put my thinking cap on, and thought of a solution to this. AHA!! Okay, dark Teal-coloured gloves looks good though, I just need to do the same thing somewhere in Tilda's clothes. And so, that's what I did as well on the topmost part of Tilda's hat and those fluffy thingy on her shoes. Can you see it?? Now, they're all coordinated!!! :) Well, I'm not genius...just a bit smart. Tee hee! Instead of throwing an adorable image like this (when you made a mistake), sometimes you just have to come up with a solution so it still can be used. And I believe, that's part of being a stamper/crafter! (anyone out there who can relate with me?)
Here's a more closer shot of Tilda...
Another addition to my favourites! :) Okay, this is it for now. Gotta do some folding of clothes and a quick lunch with my son Jhetro.
Thanks for the visit and God bless you. ♥
