Got 2 Cards for LSC205!

Good Morning from Sydney, Australia! Hope everything's doing very well wherever you are in the globe. It's Saturday and I know I have lots of things to do but before doing so, let me share with you first the cards that I made for Limited Supply Challenge (LSC205) over SCS.

The challenge is to make "clean and simple" card. Meaning, minimising the use of embellishments, layering, matting, hand-cutting, glittering, etc. And this is what I came up with..

Isn't this little monkey gorgeous to look at? :) This is from the set of Changito Dos by Stampendous. One of the first few sets that I bought when I started stamping and if I'm not mistaken, I bought this from ebay along with 4 other sets all from Stampendous. As you can see I made a little sky scene first with the "sun" lol! At least I was able to use my SU! Summer Sun ink pad for the first time. Does it look okay or what?

And since simple cards are easier to make, I decided to make another one...

This time I used die cuts from my Cuttlebug Vintage corner dies and my Daisy Heads Shapeabilities. This card is DL-sized so I have to make an envelope for it. My image is from Autumn Leaves (clear single stamp) designed by Rhonna Farrer. I coloured it with my Prismas (and so was the first card I've shown) and my sentiment is from Stampendous - Encouraging Words.

Okay, this is it for now. All I can say is it's really nice to make such simple cards as this, so nice to remind us & take us back where we've started as stampers. ;) Clean and Simple.

God bless everyone!

  1. Beautiful cards Jhet!!! I think I need to make some simple ones to build up my stash of cards again.
